Our recent Career Day, allowed our Medical Science Juniors to visit the Rutgers Health Science Department Piscataway campus and speak with the various department representatives, to learn about the health science fields of study, offered at the University.
Our Medical-Science Program at CPHS is affiliated with the Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) Careers in Health Sciences Program. This Rutgers' program enables students in CTE schools, the opportunity to explore the growing health care fields and earn college credits while in high school. It is an intensive curriculum, developed to prepare students for a future in healthcare/medical-science.
The original Rutgers Program began in 1993, as a partnership with the New Jersey Department of Education. Now, approximately, 65 New Jersey High Schools affiliate with this unique Careers in Health Sciences Program.
