County Prep’s Culinary Arts wins a Silver Medal in NJAC Culinary Cook off At Caesars Palace

(Atlantic City May 3, 2024) County Prep's Culinary Academy participated in the 11th Annual New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) County Vocational-Technical School Cook-Off Challenge at Caesar’s Palace, taking home the Silver Medal. County Prep has competed in this event since 2013 with a total of 14 Medals. Along with his Students Chef Collins and Chef Sanchez presented a beautiful display that was dazzling to the eye. The theme was a play on sushi, Prosciutto Di Parma with Risotto & Dry Aged County Preps Pancetta. The students and chefs worked on the project for two months. Incorporating classic and seasonal ingredients. There were 350 attendees and the event lasted one hour. All our students worked together flawlessly. We never lost a beat or did any of the judges or participants have to wait for a plate. There were 12 other vocational schools competing, the competition was fierce, however the team kept their composure. Hats off to the kids. This is an annual event.
