On June 3rd 2015 students from County Prep High School engaged in a wildlife conservation field trip to the Bronx Zoo. Students experienced the World of Birds, African Wild Dogs, Giraffes, and even the much sought after Komodo Dragon exhibits. Students were transfixed by the proximity of the animals and impressed by the knowledge they gained in reference to habitats and conservation of wildlife. Chaperones Ms. Garcia, Ms. Termine, Mr. Aguilar, and Mr. Ehnstrom, led by A.P. Biology & Zoology Instructor Mr. Sotardi, stated that students demonstrated respect for wildlife as well as an interest in college careers dealing with zoological sciences.
