What made you decide to act as the student representative on the Board? Do you hold any other student leadership positions?
I am currently in the elected leadership position at High Tech as the Junior Class Secretary. When Ms. Lin came to me because I was elected Junior Class Secretary I felt overwhelmed at first, but after two minutes of thought I said, "Yes". I believed that I could do a good job in this position and it would be a great opportunity to get more student opinion represented in the Board meetings. This role at High Tech also helps me perform better in my newly appointed position as the Board Student Representative.
What is your favorite thing about going to an HCST school?
My favorite thing about going to school at an HCST school is the community. Even though it is one with many people, everyone knows somebody or talks to other people which helps bring the school community closer together.
What are your plans for after you graduate?
My plans after I graduate is to go to an Art school and study either visual art or interior design.
What are your hobbies/what do you like to do in your free time?
My current hobbies right now are going to an art studio which I have been doing for many years now, and also reading.
