County Prep juniors and seniors visited Fairleigh Dickinson University on Friday, October 22. These aspiring young professionals met with Israel Delgado from the Latino Promise program and current FDU Latino Promise students to get an in-depth view of the benefits of a small program tailored to the unique needs of students coupled with the vast resources of a large institution. In addition, the students toured the campus including classrooms, offices, and the library. The day concluded with a complimentary luncheon and an opportunity to experience a typical day as a college student. This structured work based learning experience exposed students to the different career trajectories possible at this higher education institution.
