(Walpack Township--January 12 2019) The High Tech Hiking Club, led by veteran History instructor Ronald Kliesh, went on its third hiking expedition, exploring Buttermilk Falls and its wooden stairway, interpretive displays, and bird-watching trail, announced Dr. Joseph Giammarella, Principal of High Tech.
The hike, also led by Dr. Shelly Witham, took the club to the falls, despite the torrential storms from last year that nearly affected sightseeing. However, some roads still proved impassable, in need of a great deal of repair.
“The goal [of the High Tech Hiking Club] for this year is an overnight trip with camping and hiking,” says Kliesh.
