VERONA -- Many of the students at Hudson County's STEM-focused High Tech High School are going into technology-related fields--so maybe it's fitting that a student captured the fun of the year's "promposals" on camera.
High Tech student Tyler Law of Bayonne posted his video of the school's promposals on Twitter and Youtube prior to the main event on Thursday night at the Richfield Regency in Verona.
"I made the video to highlight the great promposals from this year and give proper recognition to my hardworking peers," Law said on Friday. "A lot of people really loved it. A few people even told me that they teared up watching it."

According to senior class advisor Samantha Eulo, 210 prom tickets were bought by the class of 175 students, and nearly all the students attended.
"This is a very close school," said teaching assistant Grisel Castanon. Her daughter happened to graduate High Tech with the daughter of manager of the Richfield Regency, she said, and the graduates remain close. "It's unbelievable," she said.
Added the school's yoga instructor Fernanda Machuca, "They're so amazing, dedicated, and they put a lot of effort into everything they do."
"I'm just kind of in shock at this point," said senior Vanessa Rosensweet, 17, after walking into the cocktail room in her red gown. "Everyone just looks so perfect."
