Infinity dress pattern pieces
What happens when you take four measurements, divide by Pi, and do some simple multiplication? You get an infinity dress. Infinity dresses are named for the infinite ways you can wear them, thanks to the innumerable ways you can wrap the straps to make the bodice uniquely yours.
Fashion students in Mrs. Patten’s classes used their mathematical skills to draft the three simple pattern pieces they used to construct the popular infinite dress. It was nice hearing the students refer to the radius, circumference, and Pi while creating the patterns. Their math teachers would be proud.
