County Prep High School/ATD Audio Visual Production Department celebrated Career Technical Education Month by hosting their inaugural CTE Winter Showcase. On February 9th, the event started with refreshments and a welcome in the ITV Room by Assistant Principal Mr. Mark R. Rogers. Then, guests were given tours by our Peer Leaders around our County Prep Facility. Guests then enjoyed presentations in our AV Studio, Control Room, Editing Lab and Film/Cinema Studies Classrooms. Parents and rising students got a glimpse of what our AV Production has to offer and our updated workspace. Students from AV3 volunteered their time to provide firsthand experience about the program and to help make the showcase a success. Mrs. Martinez, Mr. Meyer, and Mr. Carey were thrilled with the turnout and are looking forward to making it an annual event! We hope to see you at the next one!
