This year Ms. Jillian Mulrain’s Annual Starbucks Cup Artist Competition looked a bit different than in past years, but it still brought the same joy and a little extra motivation to our Creative Art students at County Prep.
With our students working virtually, the guidelines were simplified by having our students design on a Starbucks template instead of actual coffee cups. This year we had three top artists (all senior students) who were awarded prizes for their creative and spirited designs.
First place went to MariLou Perez with her ‘Snoopy and colored string lights design’. Second place went to senior Beatriz Villanueva, with her ‘winter cabin and reindeer design.’ Third place went to Karlene Balatbat, with her ‘Santa 6 feet apart’ design (very fitting for this year!)
Ms. Mulrain said, “As always I want to thank the faculty and staff for participating by voting on their favorite designs! Hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays!”
