The High Tech High School Media, Visual & Performing Arts Academy is incredibly proud to share that Parth Khot, an 11th-grade Graphic Technology major, has been selected for the prestigious Governor’s School of Engineering & Technology at Rutgers University. This is an honor awarded to only a select group of the most exceptional students across New Jersey.
Students are chosen through a highly competitive application process that evaluates academic achievement, teacher recommendations, demonstrated interest in engineering and technology, and a strong commitment to innovation and problem-solving. Being selected as a Governor’s School Scholar is a true testament to Parth’s talent, work ethic, and passion for his field.
This summer, Parth will participate in an intensive, fully funded program that begins with virtual onboarding and transitions to an immersive, on-campus experience at Rutgers University. During the program, he will engage in four advanced academic courses in engineering and technology, collaborate in small groups on research and design projects, network with high-achieving peers and industry professionals from across the state, and present his work at the Governor’s School Research Symposium.
At High Tech High School, we are committed to empowering students through rigorous academics, CTE pathways, and authentic, real-world learning experiences, and Parth’s achievement is a powerful reflection of that mission in action. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish this summer and beyond, Parth!
