Designing the Future: ACE Mentorship Club Showcases Innovative Waterfront Solutions at NJIT
On Friday, April 26, five teams from High Tech High School’s ACE Mentorship Club showcased their final projects at the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture. The competition tasked students with creating innovative plans for resilient and sustainable waterfront developments in flood-prone regions. Focusing on specific sections of Hudson County’s waterfront, our ACE students developed detailed proposals that included comprehensive planning, resilient strategies, and precise construction timelines. Their projects aimed to mitigate flood risks while preserving the cultural heritage of our community’s shoreline.
