Alumni Spotlight: How High Tech Rooted Sabit Nasir’s Career in Sustainability

In honor of CTE Month, we are proud to highlight High Tech alum Sabit Nasir, Class of 2015, a powerful example of how our CTE programs prepare students for innovative careers.

While at High Tech, Sabit majored in Environmental Studies, where he built a strong foundation in environmental research, data analysis, sustainability planning, and problem-solving. He went to graduate from the University Of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies and a Masters in Energy and Environmental Management. He is now a Sustainability and Resilience Manager in the Town of Groton, Connecticut.

His journey reflects the strength of our CTE programs through hands-on learning, industry aligned skills, and clear pathways that lead from classroom to career.
