Lashes, Skincare, and Success: Real-World Lessons for Our Cosmetology Students

Our Cosmetology students had the opportunity to learn from two industry professionals during back-to-back guest speaker sessions.

Nicole Urina from I Do Lashes Salon shared her journey from hair stylist to award-winning lash expert. With over 20 advanced certifications and more than 5,000 lash sets completed, Nicole also discussed her experience as a trainer in the PLA network, providing students with insider tips on the latest lash techniques.

Karina Crespo, esthetician at Glow & Co Beauty Bar, spoke about her path from criminal justice graduate to esthetician. She shared how her passion for makeup and beauty evolved into a love for facials and esthetics, inspiring students to pursue their own creative journeys in the beauty industry.

These sessions gave students real-world insight into career paths in cosmetology, the skills needed to succeed, and inspiration from professionals who have turned their passions into thriving careers.
