Our Wolfpack students had the opportunity to experience a fascinating presentation from the Japanese Swordsmanship Society, which showcased the traditional martial arts of Iaido (swordsmanship) and Naginata (polearm arts).
The Japanese Swordsmanship Society is a long standing organization that has practiced at HCST facilities for many years, with dojos located in Hoboken and Weehawken. Students learned about the history, discipline, techniques, and cultural significance behind these traditional Japanese martial arts while watching impressive demonstrations from experienced practitioners.
Thank you to the Japanese Swordsmanship Society for an engaging presentation and for sharing your knowledge, skills, and passion with our students. We appreciate the opportunity to learn about these rich traditions and experience them firsthand.
