HVAC I – 9O HOURS
(Prerequisite Handyman Specialist)
The basic vapor compression system will be taught. The types, principles, and operation of compressors, condensers, sub-cooling, liquid receivers, pump-down, filter dryers, sight glasses, metering devices, evaporators, superheat, and heat transfers will be introduced. This course will also focus on phase changes regarding temperature, refrigerants, manifold gauges, soldering, swaging, flaring, leak detection, evacuation, changing oils, recovery, recycling, and reclaiming.
Textbook not included. A 10% discount is available if students register for Part I & II together! OSHA 30 CERTIFICATION AVAILABLE
