Honoring Excellence: Explore Middle School's NJHS Induction Celebrates Outstanding Students
Explore Middle School proudly celebrated its National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction on Tuesday, May 7th. Students, staff, parents, and esteemed guests convened to honor the exceptional students who have been selected by our faculty to join the nation’s oldest, largest, and most esteemed student recognition program.
This ceremony symbolizes our ongoing commitment to excellence within our school and community. Throughout the year, our NJHS members serve as exemplary role models for their peers, embodying the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
In addition to their outstanding academic achievements, our new inductees have demonstrated leadership within various student organizations and have dedicated themselves to serving both our school and community through numerous activities. We are immensely proud of their accomplishments and eagerly welcome them to our NJHS family.
The NJHS induction marks the culmination of our candidates' dedication to embodying these five core qualities:
- Scholarship: A commitment to lifelong learning, even beyond formal education.
- Service: A willingness to help others, both within our school and in the broader community.
- Leadership: A dedication to guiding and supporting others to achieve shared goals.
- Character: Upholding principles of integrity, honesty, and moral fortitude in all endeavors.
- Citizenship: Fulfilling our obligations to contribute positively to our society and the well-being of our fellow citizens.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our NJHS Advisor, Ms. Mary Norcia, and to our dedicated committee members, Ms. Lauren Norcia, Ms. Amy Garrett, Ms. Angela Cirillo, and Mrs. Heather Bruno, for their invaluable support and guidance throughout this process.
Congratulations to our newest NJHS members! We look forward to witnessing the positive impact you will continue to make within our school and community.
