Spice Rack Cabinetry
Students in Mr McGuckin's Carpentry 2/3 class assemble their spice racks. The students measured and cut the pieces they are assembling. Once the racks are fully formed, they will be sanded and stained.
Electrical Circuit Installation
Students in Mr Lawson’s/Mr Smiths construction trades class learn how to install electric circuits. Mr Lawson demonstrates how to install the junction box, which acts as a source of power. Then students take a turn at installing the junction boxes & showing Mr Lawson what they have learned.
Paraffin Waxing
In Ms P's Cosmetology class, students discover how Paraffin Waxing Waxing can help relax and heal the skin. They practice this technique on their hands and feet, and learn about its benefits for circulation and hydration.
Construction Trades Drywall Spackling
The students in the Construction Trades Class taught by Mr Smith and Mr Landon are learning how to finish drywall. They apply spackle to the drywall joints and smooth them out before painting.
Carpentry Table Staining
Mr. Cea's Carpentry I students are putting the finishing touches on their tables. They have worked hard to measure, cut and assemble the pieces in previous classes. Now they are staining their projects with pride.
Installing Receptacles
Electrical Receptacles Students in Mr. Lawson's class learn how to install Quad Receptacles using two techniques: pigtails, which are multiple wires of the same color coming into a box pigtailed back to a device and jumpers which transfer power from one receptacle to another.
Arc Welding
Students in Mr. Clark's welding class, learn the basics of Arc Welding.
Automotive-Brake Pads Replacement
Mr. Topolewski shows his advanced Auto students how to change brake pads and students go to work on changing the pads.
Automotive-Muffler Installation
Mr. Topolewski goes over the exhaust system & how to install a muffler.
Carpentry-Framing the Ceiling
Mr. Smith instructs his Construction Trades Academy students to install the ceiling for their structure. Once the ceiling is complete, the class will install sinks & toilets with running water. Followed by electricity for lighting.

Universal Technical Institute Visits the Bayonne Campus
Donated Military Humvee
The Bayonne School District was awarded a military Humvee that the students in Automotive currently apply their knowledge learned in the classroom to restore the vehicle. Once the project is completed, students and the District will present the Humvee to the Bayonne Police Department for emergency response usage.
