Cultivating Eco-Consciousness at Sustainability Camp

At the Sustainability Summer Camp, students dove into a world of eco-friendly practices and hands-on environmental stewardship. They took an active role in campus garden maintenance, built digital models of bee hotels and butterfly houses to support vital pollinators, and even created bee watering stations.

The camp offered a rich blend of activities, from composting and regrowing plants from food seeds to crafting chia pets and sampling dragon fruit seeds. Students also made guacamole while prepping avocado pits to sprout new trees, painted sustainable tote bags, and created pressed flower bookmarks.
