On May 1st, our district proudly presented Career Day at County Prep High School, giving students the opportunity to learn directly from professionals representing a wide range of career fields and industries.
Throughout the day, presenters shared their professional experiences through brief presentations and interactive question-and-answer sessions. The event was designed to help students explore future career paths, gain motivation and advice from working professionals, and build valuable networking connections.
Students were introduced to careers in fields including healthcare, business and finance, media and communication, arts and design, public safety, education, law, engineering, information technology, transportation, hospitality, social services, and many more.
Representatives from numerous organizations and companies participated in the event, including the Jersey City Fire Department, Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, Panasonic, Wells Fargo, UPS, The Walt Disney Company, FBI, Avis Budget Group, Freddie Mac, and many other local businesses, universities, healthcare organizations, and community agencies.
Career Day provided students with meaningful insight into the professional world while reinforcing the importance of career exploration, communication, and future planning. Thank you to all of the presenters and organizations who took the time to inspire and support our students as they prepare for their future careers.
