🎥📸 WBL IN ACTION!
Yesterday, our AV and Photography students had an incredible Work-Based Learning experience alongside Hudson County Executive Craig Guy, Congressman Rob Menendez, and Superintendent Thomas Macagnano as they prepared a promotional video for the upcoming Hudson County Career Fair on October 17th!
Our AV students shadowed the Hudson County Executive’s production crew, getting a behind-the-scenes look at planning, filming, and producing a professional promotional piece. They then put their own skills to work by conducting on-camera interviews with all three leaders in our studio. 🎤🎬
One of our Photography students also documented the experience throughout the day. 📸
Opportunities like this give our students real-world experience while building their technical, communication, teamwork, and professional skills alongside community leaders and industry professionals.
A special thank you to County Executive Guy, Congressman Menendez, and Superintendent Macagnano for working with our students, and to AV Production instructors Nicole Martinez & Robert Meyer, and along with Photography instructor Dimitri Rodriguez, for creating and supporting this meaningful opportunity! 🖤💛
