6th Grade Field Experience: Lincoln Park
Our 6th graders took part in their first field experience at Lincoln Park, where they rolled up their sleeves to help with a park cleanup and learn about nature, community, and stewardship.
We met Gary, Willa, and other dedicated groundskeepers and landscapers, who shared their knowledge about the park’s greenery, history, and the many important roles that keep our county parks thriving. Students explored the greenhouse, farm, and fountain, gaining a deeper appreciation for how much care goes into maintaining these beautiful spaces.
We’re so grateful for this hands-on learning experience — what a great start to the year!
