Hudson County Schools of Technology and Hudson County’s One Stop Career Center officially opened a joint office at Bayonne City Hall Tuesday, making it easier for people in the southern part of the county to connect with free services.

The satellite office, which will be open on Tuesdays and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will help connect residents with programs such as job training, career counseling and English as a Second Language courses.

A second satellite office is scheduled to open in Harrison Wednesday. The county school district and the One Stop Career Center also have an office in Union City.

“At Hudson County Schools of Technology, our goal is to provide students and job seekers of all ages with the educational resources they need to succeed,” said acting Superintendent Amy Lin-Rodriguez. “By opening these offices, we will have the opportunity to expand our outreach to residents in every corner of the county and provide them with the guidance they need to achieve their goals.”
