High Tech Holds Community Service Project in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

(Secaucus, NJ--February 1, 2019) High Tech Culinary and Science Academy students designed 130 Valentine's Day cards for veterans, a community service project inaugurated by Language Arts instructor Joan Marie Bellotti, announced Dr. Joseph Giammarella, Principal of High Tech.

To celebrate what would have been Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s 90th birthday, Bellotti's 9th grade World Literature classes and 10th grade American Literature class produced the Valentine's Day cards, which they sent to the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx, to be distributed to the patients there.
